DEAMER, Guy W. On May 30, 2001, GUY W. DEAMER, 80, of RR2 McClure passed away at 7:40 p.m. at Geisinger Medical Center, Danville, after being stricken near his home. He was born February 21, 1921 in RR2 McClure.

April 18, 1942, he married the late Gol-die I. Goss, who passed ewav October 9, 1998. He was a member of St. John's Ridge Church, RR2 McClure. He retired in 1977 from Bethlehem Steel, Sparrows Point, MD after 38 years, retiring as a machine shop supervisor.

He served in the US Navy during WWII. He was well known for his involvement in the Republican Party, serving as a councilman for many years. He enjoyed his grandchildren, hunting, playing cards, gardening and landscaping. He had a special interest in Civil War History. He is survived by two sons, Kerry L.
