DeLashmutt, were married May 8 at the Memorial Episcopal Church. The Rev. Robert Cox, the Rev. John Cooper, rector of the church, and the Rt. Rev.

Noble C. Powell, retired Bishop of Maryland, performed the ceremony. A reception was held at the home of the bride. bride, given in marriage by her father, wore a gown of candlelight silk organza over peau de sole with Alencon lace appliqued on the bodice. Her veil was of heirloom lace, and she carried a spray of white orchids, lilies of the valley and stephanotis.

Miss Susan Meade deButts was maid of honor for her sister, whose bridesmaids were Miss Melinda Reed DeLashmutt, sister of the bridegroom; Miss Louisa Haxall Harris Jamison, Miss Margery Stuart Merrill, of Baldwin; Miss Katherine Clapp Perry, Miss Sally Keene Craig, Miss Rosa Heath Long Beckwith, of Warrenton, N.C.; Miss Diana Grace Appleton, 1 of Greenwich, and Miss Anne Fitzhugh Slater, of Upperville, Va. The flower girl was Harriet Carrington Hooper, cousin of the bride. Mr. Basil M. DeLashmutt was best man for his cousin.

Alexander Hamilton Leonard L. Greif, Jr. Mrs. James Edward Stark, the former Miss Agnes Armistead Gordon, of Darnall road, was wed in Ruxton. Udel Mrs.

James Buchheister, formerly Miss Virginia Ruth Braun, of West University parkway, was wed here, Miss Barbara Ann Beachler, of Falls Church, is to be the bride of Mr. Adolphe A. Pons 3d, of Bel Air. Wilson, of Washington, and Mr. Robert Lee Slingluff 3d, son of Mr.

and Mrs. Robert Lee Slingluff, of New Windsor, took place May 1 at St. Thomas More Catholic Church. The Rev. Virgil C.

Funk performed the ceremony. A reception was held at the Bethesda Medical Center Officers Club. The bride, given in marriage by her oldest brother, Mr. Alexander Hamilton Wilson, of Chicago, wore a gown of candlelight peau de soie appliqued with reembroidered, Alencon lace The bellshaped skirt formed a sweep train. Her veil of illusion was attached to a hat of tiny roses and petals.

Mrs. Thomas Cosgrove, sister of the bride, was matron of honor. Mrs. H. Russell Powell, Mrs.

William M. Rondels, Miss Elizabeth McNeill, Miss Mary Alice Beaudry and Miss Angela Slingluff, sister of the bridegroom, were bridesmaids. Mr. Slingluff was best man his son, whose ushers were DOE, Michael McCormick Slingluff and Mr. Charles Harry Slingluff, brothers of the bridegroom; Mr.

Wright The engagement of Miss Sharon Kaye Shutty, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Joseph A. Shutty, of Oak Park, to Mr. Washburne Depew Wright, of Grosse Pointe, son of Mrs.

John Shalleross, of Reisterstown, and Mr. Washburne Wright, of Miami Beach, has been announced. The bride-elect, a graduate of Michigan State University, is the granddaughter of Mr. and Mrs. John J.

Shutty, and Mrs. Trybus Jacob, Barnesboro, Pa. Working for his masters degree at Wayne State University, the prospective bridegroom graduated from Michigan State University and Wilbraham Academy. He is the grandson of Mrs. Wislon W.

Mills, Grosse Pointe and the late Mr. Sherman L. DePew. Leonard L. Greif, Jr.

deButts. Miss Gordon Becomes Bride marriage of Miss Agnes Maryland, the prospective Armistead Gordon, daughter bridegroom graduated from of Mrs. Alexander Gordon 3d, of Darnall road, and the late Mr. Gordon, to Mr. James Edward Stark, son of Mr.

and Mrs. James Edward Stark, of Memphis, took place May 8 at the Episcopal Church of the Good Shepherd. The ceremony was performed by the Rev. David O. Gearhart.

A reception was held at the Elkridge Club. Given in marriage by Mr. Fred C. Fischer, the bride wore a gown of white peau de soie with a fitted bodice, scoop neckline, long sleeves and a chapellength train. Her veil was an heirloom, and she carried a cascade bouquet of white roses, orchids and stephanotis.

The matron of honor was Mrs. Joseph Orgill O'Brien, of Memphis, sister of the bridegroom, and the maid of honor was Miss Cynthia Wilson Gordon, sister of the bride. Another sister of the bride, Ann McKim Gordon, was junior bridesmaid. The flower girl was Cynthia Hilles Horner, niece of the bride. The best man was Mr.

John Curry Barton, cousin of the bridegroom. The ushers were Joseph Orgill O'Brien and Mr. Marion S. Boyd, both of Memphis, and Mr. Alexander Gordon 4th.

The bride is the granddaughter of Mrs. William S. Hilles, of Greenway, and the late Mr. Hilles, and the late Mrs. Yvonne Kirkpatrick-Howat, of Philadelphia and the late Mr.

Alexander Gordon, of Baltimore. A graduate Briarcliff Junior College with a B.F.A. degree in drama from Carnegie Institute of Technology, she received a fellowship for graduate work at the University of Michigan. Mr. Stark is the grandson of the late Mr.

and Mrs. William Park Metcalf, and the late Mr. and Mrs. James E. Stark, all of Memphis.

Miss Callis Engaged The engagement of Miss Marjorie Ann Callis, daughter of Mr. William J. Callis, of Meadowridge road, and Mrs. B. Durant Griffin, of Ashby, Norwell, to Mr.

Eugene Bennett Fink, son of Mr. nad Mrs. Charles Edward Fink, of Guilford avenue, has been announced. The bride-elect attended Calvert School and graduated from Notre Dame Preparatory School Maryland and Notre Dame College. She is the granddaughter of Mrs.

Charles Reubell Goldsborough, of North Charles street, and the late Doctor Goldsborough, and Mrs. George R. Callis, of Rodgers Forge, and the late Mr. Callis. A graduate of Loyola High School and the college, Mr.

Fink is the grandson of the late Mr. and Mrs. Filmore Bennett, of Baltimore, and the late Mr. and Mrs. Charles Edward Fink, of Westminister.

Miss Callis To Marry Announcement has been made of the engagement of Miss Kathryn Goldsborough Hartell Callis, daughter of Mr. William J. Callis, of Meadowridge road, and Mrs. B. Durant Griffin, of Ashby, Norwell, to Mr.

Worthington E. Cockey, son of Mr. and Mrs. Edward Worthington Cockey, of Hopkins road. The bride-to-be attended Calvert School, and graduated from Notre Dame Preparatory School of Maryland and Villa Julie Junior College.

She is the granddaughter of Mrs. Charles Reubell Goldsborough, of North Charles street, and the late Doctor Goldsborough, and Mrs. George R. Callis, of Rodgers Forge, and the late Mr. Callis.

A student at the University of Bradford Bachrach Miss Frances Alexandra Fisher, of West Belvedere avenue, and Mr. William Evans Mitch, will marry. Miss Fisher Sets Wedding Date Towson High School. He is the grandson of Mrs. Joshua Frederick Cockey, of Underwood road, and the late Mr.

Cockey, and the late Rev. Frederick Alexander Gains and Mrs. Gains, of Forest Grove. Miss Braun Is Married The wedding of Miss Virginia Ruth Braun, daughter of Mr. and Mrs.

Frederick Joseph Braun, of West University parkway, and Mr. James Joseph Buchheister, son of Mr. and Mrs. James Joseph Buchheister, of Upper Marlboro, took place May 1. at SS.

Philip and James Catholic Church. The Rt. Rev. Msgr. John J.

Duggan performed the ceremony. A reception was held at the Greenspring Inn Club. Escorted by her father, the bride wore a gown of candlelight peau- de soie fashioned with long sleeves, A-line skirt, which formed the cathedrallength train. The bodice and hemline of the train were detailed with embroidery. Her veil was attached to a coronet, and she carried a bouquet of white daisies, stephanotis and cascading ivy.

Miss Kathleen Mary Braun was maid of honor for her sister. Miss Susan Hooper White, Miss Elizabeth Carroll FitzSimmons, Miss Elise Goodrich Rytina and Miss Patricia Stewart Fraser were bridesmaids. Mr. John Morris Buchheister was best man for his brother, whose ushers were Mr. Carl William Buchheister and Mr.

Peter Willett Buchheister, brothers of the bridegroom; Mr. David Leonard Sykes, Mr. Hillary C. Rowe, of Annapolis, and Mr. Jerome F.

Lonegro. The bride, a graduate of Notre Dame of Maryland, attended the University of Maryland. Mr. Buchheister graduated from Charlotte Hall Military Academy and the University of Maryland. Miss Keith Is Married Miss Martha MacDonald Keith, formerly of St.

Paul street, daughter of Mr. Percival C. Keith, of Peapack, N.J., and the late Mrs. Martha MacDonald Keith, and Mr. Peter Dane, of Meredith, N.H., son of Mr.

Edward Dane, of Boston, and the late Mrs. Dane, were married May 8 at St. Brigid's Catholic Church in Peapack. The ceremony was performed by the Rev. Francis Coan.

A reception was held at the home of the bride. The bride, escorted by her father, was attended by her sister, Miss Mac Johnston Keith, as maid of honor. Mrs. P. C.

Keith 3d, of Skillman, N.J.: Mrs. Christopher Keith, of New York, and Mrs. Edward Nathaniel Dane, of Boston, were bridesmaids. Mr. Edward Nathaniel Dane was best man.

The bride is the granddaughter of the late Senator Michael MacDonald of New Jersey, and Mrs. MacDonald, and the late Mr. and Mrs. P. C.

Keith. She attended Viewpoint School, Marymount Junior College and Immaculata Junior College. Mr. Dane is the grandson of the late Mr. and Mrs.

Ernest B. Dane, and the late Doctor and Mrs. Arthur W. Ewell. He is a graduate of Dublin School, Dublin, N.H., and attended Nichols College.

AND MRS. WILLIAM MR. A. FISHER, of West Belvedere avenue, have announced the engagement of their daughter, Miss Frances Alexandra Fisher, to Mr. William Evans Mitch, son of Mr.

and Mrs. William Evans Mitch, of Birmingham, Ala. Presented to society at the Bachelors Cotillon and a graduate of Holton Arms School, Miss Fisher is a senior at Wellesley College. She is a member of the Junior League of Baltimore. The bride-elect is the granddaughter of Mrs.

T. land Slingluff, of Norwood road, and the late Mr. Slingluff, and Mrs. William A. Fisher, of Somerset place, and the late Doctor Fisher.

Mr. Mitch, a graduate of Shades Valley School and Harvard University, is a student at Harvard medical school. He is the grandson of Mrs. John Ackerman and the late Mr. Ackerman, and Mr.

William A. Mitch and the late Mrs. Mitch, all of Birmingham. Miss Dugdale Married Miss Ann Thompson Dugdale, daughter of Mr. and Mrs.

Horace Kirkus Dugdale, of Greenville, and Mr. George William Laird, son of Mr. and Mrs. William Winder Laird, of Wilmington, were married April 24 at Christ Church Christiana Hundred in Greenville. The ceremony was performed by the Rev.

John L. O'Hear. A reception was held at the home of the bride's parents Escorted by her father, the bride wore a gown of ivory peau de soie styled with short sleeves, empire waistline and slim skirt, which formed a chapel-length train. Her veil was of Brussels lace, and she carried a cascade bouquet of gardenias and lilies of the valley. The maid of honor was Miss Lindale Dugdale, sister of the bride.

The bridesmaids were Miss Yolande deVignier Brown, Miss Mary Alletta Laird, sister of the bridegroom; Miss Rebecca Douglas McCoy, Miss Isabella Turner Pearson, cousin of the bride, and Miss Patricia Ann Reese, all of Wilmington; Mrs. Peter deBraux, of New York, and Miss Suzanne Gerard, of Haverford, Pa. Given in marriage by her father, the bride wore her mother's gown of antique satin with a bodice of Alencon lace. Her veil was of rosepoint lace, and she carried a bouquet of calla lilies. To Live In Stockholm The maid of honor was Miss Virginia S. Shriver, sister of the bride. The bridesmaids were Miss Mary Seton Lindsay, of New York, Mrs.

George G. Miller, of Newtown, and Mrs. B. Carter Randall. The flower girl was Elsie Miller.

The best man was Mr. George M. Shriver 3d, brother of the bride. The ushers were Mr. George G.

Miller, Mr. B. Carter Randall, Mr. Charles Mayer Shriver, of Westminster, and Mr. Samuel Henry Shriver, cousins of the bride.

The ringbearer was George G. Miller. The bride is the granddaughter of the late Mrs. Charles McLees and the late Mr. Frederik H.

Warren, of New Haven, and the late Mr. and Mrs. George M. Shriver, of Baltimore. Presented to society at the Bachelors Cotillon, she graduated from Garrison Forest School, Smith College and studied at the International Graduate School in Stockholm.

The bridegroom graduated from Norra Latin Laroverket, and received his masters from the University of Stockholm. He is completing his studies for a doctorate in literature. Mr. and Mrs. Kant will live in Stockholm.

Beachler, USA, and Mrs. Beachler, of Falls Church, have announced the engagement of their daughter, Miss Barbara Ann Beachler, to Mr. Adolphe A. Pons 3d, son of Mr. and Mrs.

Adolphe Pons, of Bel Air. The prospective bride is a graduate of Wakefield High School in Arlington, and attended the Ohio State University. She is the granddaughter of Mrs. Ethel Beachler, of Columbus, Ohio, and the late Dr. John F.

Beachler, of Piqua, Ohio, and the late Mr. and Mrs. Vernon Marshall, of Piqua. A member of the faculty at the new John Carroll School in Bel Air, Mr. Pons graduated from Bel Air High School and received his B.S.

degree from Connecticut State College. He is the grandson of the late Mr. and Mrs. John N. Kunkel, and the late Mr.
