The blonde stage, screen and television star was signed in line with "Wagon Trains'" star-for-every-story policy.

The program's permanent stars, Ward Bond and Robert Horton, will be seen as wagon-Snaster and scout, respectively, and Kent Smith, and Dean Stockwell will join Miss Winters in "The Ruth Owens Story." series debuts Wednesday, September 11. Cooper On Job 32 Of 35 Years Thirty-five-year-old Jackie Cooper, star, director and part owner of "The People's Choice" series, has just celebrated his thirty-second year in show business.
